I was in grade school with Edith "Rickard" and I do not remember the grade but she was my first love. Either her or I somehow got stabbed with a pencil and we would sneak candy into class under the bandage and share it. She of course was very brilliant even back then . We went in different directions and did not stay close but I will never forget our young connection . I knew she would go on to be very sucessful in life. I was very sad when I heard of her accident as she would of and probably already had made a difference in many lives. Leon Helstad
Lori Kelter (Herfurth)
